Dr. Matthew Herba.
Children are a big part of our family oriented practice. As a child I suffered needlessly with migraine headaches. My personal mission is to educate every parent, grandparent and child that many times this can be resolved by safe, natural chiropractic care. If my parents knew what I know now, most of my childhood wouldn't have been spent going to specialist after specialist, taking medication after medication.
While I was completing my Molecular and Microbiology training at UCF, I was part of a nutritional research team in the Central Florida area. In working with AIDS and Cancer Patients, we were seeing amazing results with natural, non drug solutions. After the experiences as a child with chiropractic, and the results we were getting with these patients, the decision to become a Chiropractor was the logical choice.
My training in the health field started at the University of Central Florida. In 1999 I earned a bachelors from their prestigious Micro and Molecular Biology department. The most surprising thing about this degree is the depth and breadth of topics you can choose from. The turning point in my education was when I took a class in Neuro-anatomy. I was struck by how complex God had designed us. After learning that chiropractors are nerve system specialists, I immediately decided to attend chiropractic college. I traveled to Dallas, Texas and attended Parker College of Chiropractic, earning a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2003. Upon graduation I worked in St Cloud under the tutelage of Dr. Tony Nalda, in one of the worlds largest practices.
In our office we look at the cause of your symptoms, and treated your whole person. This approach allows us to not only offer the latest and most up to date, gentle chiropractic care, but allows us to address other challenges you may have. We have monthly workshops that allow each person to address other health facets in their lives, such as nutrition, time management, peace management and exercise. The greatest part of practice is seeing miracles happen when a person begins to heal from inside out.
During my spare time I enjoy reading leadership and motivational books. Also one of my most favorite places to be is in the gym, working out.
With knowledge comes great responsibility, so I rarely miss my adjustments or working out. I have found this not only makes me feel great, but allows me to function maximally to serve others.
Thanks for visiting our site, I look forward to meeting you in person, and helping you achieve your health goals. Email me or give our office a call so we can set up a time to discuss your options.

Courtney Lowry
From a young age, I had the opportunity to be around super athletes and champions. My mother owned an elite dance studio, and a friend of the family owned a gym where they trained elite gymnasts. I was around gymnasts and dancers every day and exposed to the intense disciplines of striving to become the best. I, myself, was involved in both gymnastics and dance, but around the age of 8 learned ballet was where my focus should be. I developed my talents and fine tuned my technique, and soon was traveling all over the United States performing in every production you can imagine with the Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, Butler Ballet, Fort Wayne Ballet, and finally the Cleveland, San Jose Ballet. At age 10, I was hired to travel with the United States Gymnastics Federation to demonstrate proper ballet techniques to Olympic Gymnasts and Coaches at conferences throughout the country. At this time, I filmed several different instructional videos for gymnasts needing to learn more grace and ballet for their floor routines. From there, I toured around the United States winning Local and National Competitions in dance and was a National Champion for 8 years in a row. At the age of 16, I was officially hired as a Professional Ballerina with the Cleveland, San Jose Ballet in Cleveland, Ohio.
When I decided to pursue a college career instead of continuing with my ballet career at age 18, I attended The Ohio State University and studied Health Sciences due to my passion for fitness, nutrition, and overall health and wellness. From there, I went on to The University of Arkansas at Little Rock to finish out my four years in Wellness Education. At that point, I became a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor until I came to Florida in 2007. Shortly after arriving in Florida, I knew it would take time to build up another client base and so I worked in another Chiropractic office until I could do that, but it was NOTHING like Herba Family Chiropractic. Unsatisfied, I decided to look further. My passion for living to the fullest, in the healthiest possible way, finally brought me to Herba Family Chiropractic in July 2011, and honestly my life has been changed ever since! Herba Family Chiropractic has taught me the TRUE meaning of health and living in a maximized way, and I am so happy to be part of the team! I believe God played a hand in sending me here, and I want to spread what I have learned to others in a positive and life altering way. I truly love people, and want to help everyone I can improve their health to the maximum. We all have a full life ahead of us and want to experience it to the fullest potential. I am here to help others, along with myself, achieve that. I am very honored to have been given this opportunity
